If you are driving from the main entrance of Majete Wildlife Reserve, take the main road leading out of the reserve towards the town of Chikwawa. Continue on the road for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the T-junction. At the junction, turn left towards Blantyre. Drive for another 30 kilometers until you reach the area of Welemu. Look for signs indicating 'Welemu' as you approach the coordinates 52FC+J4P. Once you arrive in the vicinity, you may need to navigate through local unnamed roads to reach your specific destination.

Public Transportation

To reach Welemu via public transportation, start from the Majete Wildlife Reserve entrance. You can catch a minibus heading towards Chikwawa from the main road just outside the reserve. The minibus fare is typically around 500 MWK. Once in Chikwawa, transfer to another minibus heading towards Blantyre. The fare for this leg of the journey will be approximately 1,000 MWK. Inform the driver that you wish to get off near Welemu. After disembarking, you may need to walk or ask locals for directions to reach the precise location at 52FC+J4P, Unnamed Road.

Taxi

For a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from the Majete Wildlife Reserve entrance. The taxi ride to Welemu will take approximately 45 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Be prepared to negotiate a fare, which could range from 15,000 MWK to 25,000 MWK. Ensure to confirm the price before starting your journey. The driver will take you directly to the coordinates 52FC+J4P, Unnamed Road, making it the most convenient option if you have luggage or prefer a quicker transfer.
