    If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Dedza. Head south on the M1 highway. Continue for approximately 8 kilometers until you reach the turn-off marked for Dedza Mountain. The turn-off is located at the coordinates J8MF+R96, near a small sign indicating the mountain trail. Follow the dirt road for about 3 kilometers until you reach the parking area at the base of Dedza Mountain. Note that the road can be rough, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.

    If you prefer public transportation, start at Dedza's main bus station. Look for a minibus heading toward the nearby villages or to the Dedza Mountain area. The fare should be around 500 MWK (Malawi Kwacha). Inform the driver that you wish to disembark at the Dedza Mountain turn-off. Once you exit, you will need to walk approximately 3 kilometers along the dirt road to reach the parking area at the base of the mountain. It is advisable to wear comfortable shoes, as the walk can be uneven.
