From the center of Karonga, head northwest on the main road (M1) towards the town of Chitipa. After approximately 10 kilometers, look for a sign indicating the turn-off for Kuti Wildlife Reserve. Follow the signs, which will lead you onto a dirt road. The reserve is about 15 kilometers from the main road. Ensure you have ample water and check the bike's condition before departing.

Starting from the Karonga bus station, walk towards the main road (M1) heading northwest. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto the road leading to Chitipa. Continue walking for about 10 kilometers until you reach a sign for Kuti Wildlife Reserve. The reserve is located approximately 15 kilometers down the dirt road, so be prepared for a longer walk. It is advisable to wear comfortable shoes and carry water.

Catch a minibus heading towards Chitipa from the Karonga bus station. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the turn-off for Kuti Wildlife Reserve. The journey should take about 30 minutes.
