To reach Malawian Style by public transportation from the lake, take a minibus heading to Lilongwe from your location, which you can catch at various points around the lake. Make sure to ask the driver if they stop at Lilongwe main bus station. The fare typically ranges from 500 to 1,500 MWK depending on your location. Once you reach Lilongwe, you can either walk or take another minibus to Mphungu Rd. The minibus fare for this last leg is about 200 MWK.
