    If you're driving, start from the nearest major town, Salima. Head north on the M5 road towards Dwangwa. Continue on this road for approximately 25 km until you reach Dwangwa town. Once in Dwangwa, look for signs directing you towards Ngala Beach Lodge. The lodge is located a short drive from the town center, approximately 5 km down a dirt road leading to the lakeshore. Make sure to check the road conditions, as some sections may be rough.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Ngala Beach Lodge via public transportation, take a minibus from Salima to Dwangwa. These minibuses depart regularly from the bus station in Salima. The fare should be around 1,000 MWK (Malawian Kwacha) per person. Once you arrive in Dwangwa, you can either take a taxi or walk to the lodge. The lodge is about 5 km from the town, so hiring a local taxi may be more convenient, which can cost around 2,000-3,000 MWK depending on negotiation.

    If you prefer a more direct approach, you can hire a taxi from Salima directly to Ngala Beach Lodge. This option may be more expensive, costing around 10,000-15,000 MWK for the journey. The driver will take you directly to the lodge, which is about 30 km from Salima. Ensure you agree on the fare before starting your trip.
