Car
From Lilongwe Plain, head south on the M1 road. Continue for about 15 kilometers. You will see signs for Bunda Mountain. Turn left onto the dirt road at 'RQQG+MWM'. Drive carefully as the road might be uneven. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will reach the base of Bunda Mountain. Parking is available at the entrance.
Public Transport
Take a minibus from Lilongwe Plain to Bunda. Minibuses leave from designated points; ask locals for the nearest station. The fare is usually around 1,000 MWK. Upon reaching Bunda, you may need to walk about 2 kilometers to the foot of Bunda Mountain. Look for signs or ask locals for directions.
Walking
If you are staying in the vicinity of Bunda Mountain, you can walk to the base. From your accommodation, head towards the M1 road and follow the signs for Bunda Mountain. It's a pleasant walk, but be cautious of traffic and the local wildlife along the way.
