Getting There

    From Lilongwe Plain, head southeast on the main road (M1) towards the area of Bunda. Continue on M1 for approximately 30 kilometers. Look for the signs indicating Bunda Mountain; you will need to take a right turn onto a smaller road that leads directly to the mountain. The entire journey should take around 40 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure your vehicle is in good condition, as some parts of the road may be uneven.

    Take a minibus from the Lilongwe bus station heading towards Bunda. The fare is usually around 1,000 MWK (Malawian Kwacha). Inform the driver you are going to Bunda Mountain.
