If you are starting from the center of Area 12, head south on the main road towards Capital Hill. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection near the Lilongwe Golf Club. At the intersection, turn left onto the road that leads to the Capital Hill area. The World War I Memorial is located approximately 500 meters down this road on your right. Look for the memorial park, which is marked with a sign.

Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Area 12. Once you have your bike, head south on the main road towards Capital Hill. Keep cycling straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection near the Lilongwe Golf Club. Turn left onto the road towards Capital Hill and cycle approximately 500 meters. The World War I Memorial will be on your right side, easily visible from the road.
