Walking
If you are starting from the center of Area 12, head south on the main road towards Capital Hill. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection near the Lilongwe Golf Club. At the intersection, turn left onto the road that leads to the Capital Hill area. The World War I Memorial is located approximately 500 meters down this road on your right. Look for the memorial park, which is marked with a sign.

Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Area 12. Once you have your bike, head south on the main road towards Capital Hill. Keep cycling straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection near the Lilongwe Golf Club. Turn left onto the road towards Capital Hill and cycle approximately 500 meters. The World War I Memorial will be on your right side, easily visible from the road.

Public Transport (Minibus)
If you choose to use public transport, find a minibus heading towards Capital Hill. You can usually catch one near the market area in Area 12. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Capital Hill stop, which is close to the memorial. The fare is generally low, around 200 MWK. Once you get off, walk about 300 meters down the road towards the memorial, which will be on your right.
