Walking
If you are in Area 47, start by heading towards the main road, which is known as Chigoneka Road. Depending on your starting point, it may take around 10-15 minutes to reach the intersection of Chigoneka Road and the road leading to the Rose Garden. Once you reach the intersection, continue straight for another 5 minutes until you see the entrance to the Rose Garden on your right. Look for the sign that says 'Rose Garden' to confirm you're at the right spot.
Bicycle
For those who prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Area 47. Start at your location and cycle towards Chigoneka Road. Follow the same route as for walking, keeping to the side of the road for safety. The journey may take about 5-10 minutes depending on your cycling speed. Upon reaching the entrance to the Rose Garden, secure your bicycle at the designated bike rack if available.
Local Public Transport (Minibus)
If you are comfortable using local transport, you can catch a minibus along Chigoneka Road. Look for the minibuses heading towards Chigoneka. The fare is usually around 200 MWK. After a few stops, disembark at the nearest point to the Rose Garden, which should be a short walk away. Follow the direction signs towards the Rose Garden, which will take approximately 5 minutes.
