Walking
If you are starting from the Lilongwe City Centre, head north on Kamuzu Procession Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the M1 road. Turn left onto the M1 road and proceed for about 1 km. Look for the sign directing you towards Bwaila West. After about 200 meters, you will see Lewis Gardens on your right, near the coordinates 2Q46+VG6.
Public Transport (Minibus)
From Lilongwe City Centre, head to the main minibus station. Look for a minibus heading towards Bwaila or any that indicate they go past the M1 road. Board the minibus and tell the conductor you are going to Lewis Gardens. After approximately 15-20 minutes, ask to be dropped off at the stop near the entrance to the gardens. Walk a short distance to reach the entrance at 2Q46+VG6.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local shop in the City Centre. Start your ride on Kamuzu Procession Road heading north. After about 1 km, turn left onto the M1 road. Continue along this road for another kilometer until you spot the sign for Bwaila West. Lewis Gardens will be on your right side. The ride should take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace.
