Bicycle
From the center of Mangochi, head south on the main road (M5) towards Liwonde. Continue to follow the road for approximately 15 kilometers. As you approach Liwonde, look for signs directing you to Liwonde National Park. You will need to take a right turn onto a smaller road that leads directly into the park entrance.

Bicycle Taxi (Boda Boda)
You can hire a boda boda from any point in Mangochi. Ask the driver to take you to Liwonde National Park. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Ensure that the driver is familiar with the area and can take you to the park entrance directly.

Public Transport (Minibus)
Head to the minibus station in Mangochi, which is usually located near the market area. Look for a minibus heading to Liwonde. The fare is typically around 500-1000 MWK. Inform the driver you want to get off at Liwonde National Park. Once you arrive at Liwonde, you may need to walk about 2 kilometers to reach the park entrance.

If you are staying close to the outskirts of Mangochi, you can walk south towards Liwonde. The walk is about 15 kilometers and will take roughly 3-4 hours. Stay on the main road (M5) and look for directional signs to guide you towards the park.
