If you are driving, start from Mulanje town. Head south on the M1 road towards the town of Thyolo. After approximately 15 kilometers, turn right onto the Mulanje-Southern road (also known as the Mulanje Mountain access road). Continue on this road for about 20 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Mulanje Mountain. From the entrance, follow the signs towards Maciço de Mulanje, which is approximately 10 kilometers away. The roads can be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

To reach Maciço de Mulanje via public transportation, start by taking a minibus from Mulanje town to the Mulanje Mountain access point. The fare is usually around 500 Malawian Kwacha. Once you arrive at the entrance of Mulanje Mountain, you can either walk or hire a local guide for a small fee (approximately 2,000 to 5,000 Malawian Kwacha) to take you to Maciço de Mulanje, which is about a 2-hour hike from the entrance.
