Continue straight until you reach the Mulanje Mountain Conservation Area entrance, where you'll pay an entrance fee (typically around 1,000 MWK for locals and 5,000 MWK for foreigners). Once inside, follow the signs or maps available to navigate to popular hiking trails like Lichenya or the Plateau.

    To reach Mulanje by public transport, head to the Limbe bus station in Blantyre and take a minibus (matola) heading to Mulanje. The fare is usually about 1,000 MWK. The journey takes around 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Mulanje town, you can either walk or take a local taxi to the Mulanje Mountain Conservation Area entrance.
