From Mulanje, take a minibus heading to Lilomba. The fare is usually around 500 MKW. Inform the driver that you are going to Malape Pillars. Once you arrive in Lilomba, you may need to ask locals for the best way to reach the pillars, which is about a 2-kilometer walk uphill. Be prepared for a bit of a hike, and consider hiring a local guide if you are unsure of the path.
