The forest reserve is located approximately 6 km from Nkhata Bay town center. Follow the signs that indicate the direction to Kalwe Forest Reserve. Be mindful of local traffic and keep an eye out for any pedestrians or cyclists.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Nkhata Bay. Start at the town center and ride east along Chikangawa Road towards the lakeshore.
