Getting There

  If you're traveling by car in Northern Region, head to the M5 road, which runs along the western edge of Lake Malawi. From the town of Mzuzu, drive south on the M5 for approximately 70 km. As you approach Chintheche, look for signs indicating Chintheche INN. The inn is located near the lakeshore, and you can easily spot it as you approach the area. There is ample parking available at the inn.

• Public Transportation (Minibus)

  To reach Chintheche INN via public transport, find a minibus heading south from Mzuzu. You can catch these minibuses from the main bus station in Mzuzu. The fare will typically range from 1,500 to 2,500 MWK (Malawi Kwacha). Inform the driver that you're going to Chintheche. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Chintheche bus stop, the inn is a short walk away from the main road; just follow the signs or ask locals for directions.
