From the entrance of Majete Wildlife Reserve, head northeast on the main road towards the town of Chikwawa. Continue driving on this road for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the junction for Chileka Road. Turn left onto Chileka Road and follow the signs. PYERA GARDENS will be on your right after about 3 kilometers. Make sure to have some local currency, as there may be tolls or parking fees along the way.

Public Transportation

From the entrance of Majete Wildlife Reserve, take a minibus or shared taxi heading towards Chikwawa. The fare is usually around 500 MWK. Once you arrive in Chikwawa, look for a minibus going to Ngumbe or a taxi that can take you to Chileka Road. Inform the driver that you are heading to PYERA GARDENS. The total cost for this leg of the journey should be about 1,000 MWK. After about 20 minutes, you will arrive at PYERA GARDENS, which is located on your left along Chileka Road.
