If you're driving, start from the center of Blantyre. Head south on the M1 Chikwawa Road. Continue on this road for about 24 kilometers until you reach Mbame Estate. Look for signs directing you to Fisherman's Rest, located just off the main road. There is parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, you can take a minibus from Blantyre to Chikwawa. The minibuses leave from the main bus station in Blantyre. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Mbame Estate, and they will drop you off near the entrance. From the drop-off point, Fisherman's Rest is a short walk away, approximately 1 kilometer along a dirt road, so be prepared for a bit of a trek on foot.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Blantyre. You can hire a taxi to take you directly to Fisherman's Rest. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting the trip. The taxi ride should take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
