To reach Ng'ona Lodge from any location in Shire Valley by car, start by heading towards the main road that connects to the M1 highway, which runs north to south through Malawi. If you are in Zomba, take the M1 south towards Liwonde. Once in Liwonde, follow signs to the Shire River. From there, continue eastward on the local roads toward Maganga. The lodge is located at coordinates -15.9133797, 34.753634. Use a GPS or a map application to guide you to Maganga, specifically the address 3QP3+JFR, Maganga. Parking is available on-site.

Public Transportation

If you prefer public transportation, catch a minibus or a shared taxi from Zomba or Blantyre heading to Liwonde. Upon arrival in Liwonde, look for a local minibus that travels to Maganga. Confirm with the driver that they will drop you off near Ng'ona Lodge. Once dropped off, you may need to walk approximately 1 km to reach the lodge. Ensure you have some local currency (Malawian Kwacha) for fares, as it typically costs around MK 1,000 to MK 2,000 for the minibus rides.

Bicycle or Walking
