Car
If you're traveling by car within the Southern Region, navigate towards Chembe by using the main roads. From Blantyre, take the M1 highway heading south. After about 30 km, turn onto the M5 road and continue driving towards Chembe. Look for signs directing you to Chembe Beach. Once in Chembe, use GPS coordinates (-14.0370924, 34.8303455) to reach the Missionary Graves located at XR7J+549. There is no entrance fee to visit the graves, but ensure your vehicle has enough fuel as services may be limited in the area.
Public Transport
To reach Missionary Graves using public transport from Blantyre, head to the main bus station and catch a minibus heading to Mangochi or Liwonde. The fare is approximately 1,000 MWK. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Chembe. Once you arrive in Chembe, you may need to hire a local motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) to cover the last few kilometers to the gravesite. The motorcycle taxi fare should be around 500 MWK. Use the GPS coordinates (-14.0370924, 34.8303455) to guide the driver to your destination.
