Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Blantyre, take the M1 road heading south. Continue on the M1 for about 70 kilometers until you reach the junction for the M5 road. Turn left onto the M5 and follow it for approximately 30 kilometers. Look for signs towards Otter Point and turn onto the local road that leads you to the destination. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition as some parts of the road may be rough.

Start your journey in Blantyre by taking a minibus to Zomba. Once in Zomba, transfer to another minibus heading towards the M5 road. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Otter Point. The minibus fare from Blantyre to Zomba is approximately 1,500 MWK, and from Zomba to Otter Point it should be around 500 MWK. Please note that minibuses may not run frequently, so be prepared for potential waiting times.
