Once you reach the reserve entrance, follow the signs to Bua River Lodge, which is located within the reserve. The lodge is approximately 15 kilometers from the reserve entrance, and the road may be unpaved and bumpy, so drive carefully.
Public Transportation (Minibus)
For those using public transportation, catch a minibus from Lilongwe to Nkhotakota at the Lilongwe bus station. The fare is typically around 2,000 MWK and the journey takes about 4-5 hours.
