Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the city of Blantyre. Head east on the M1 highway towards Liwonde. Continue on the M1 until you reach the junction for the M5 road. Take the M5 towards Liwonde National Park. After approximately 50 km, you will see signs for Chimwala Bush Camp. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the camp located at X7P6+VPX National Park, Liwonde. Make sure to check for any tolls that may apply along the M1.

For those using public transportation, begin at the Blantyre bus station. Look for a bus heading to Liwonde. The journey will take about 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Upon reaching Liwonde, you may need to take a taxi or a local minibus to reach Chimwala Bush Camp.
