Walking
If you are in the center of Zomba, start by heading south on the main road, Zomba Road, towards the Zomba Mountain. Walk for about 20 minutes until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Mulunguzi Dam. Turn left at this intersection. Continue walking straight for another 15-20 minutes, passing by local shops and residential areas. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Mulunguzi Dam and the restaurant. After a short while, you will see the sign for Mulunguzi Restaurant on your right side.
Bicycle
For those opting to cycle, start from the main market area in Zomba. Head south on Zomba Road, and cycle for about 2 kilometers until you reach the junction for Mulunguzi Dam. Turn left and continue cycling for another 1.5 kilometers. The road is relatively flat and you will pass through scenic areas. Look for the sign of Mulunguzi Restaurant on your right as you approach the dam area.
Public Transport (Minibus)
To reach Mulunguzi Restaurant using public transport, find a minibus headed towards Mulunguzi or Zomba Mountain from the main minibus terminal in Zomba. Once you board, inform the driver of your destination. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes. The minibus will drop you off at the junction for Mulunguzi Dam. From there, it's a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the restaurant, following the signs along the road.
