Car

If you are driving, start from Zomba city center and head towards the Zomba Plateau road. Follow the signs for Zomba Plateau, which is approximately 10 kilometers from the city. As you ascend, take in the beautiful scenery. Upon reaching the plateau, continue on the main road until you see the signs for Sunbird Ku Chawe. The hotel is located on Zomba Mountain, and there is a parking area available.

To reach Sunbird Ku Chawe using public transport, you can take a minibus from Zomba city center heading towards the Zomba Plateau. The fare is approximately 500 MWK. Request the driver to drop you off at the Zomba Plateau entrance. From there, you may need to walk or hire a local taxi to reach Sunbird Ku Chawe, which is about 3 kilometers from the drop-off point. Expect to pay around 2000 MWK for the taxi fare.
