Start your journey at the Zomba Central Market, which is a bustling hub of activity. From the market, head south on Zomba Road towards the Zomba Plateau. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach a junction. At this junction, turn right onto the road leading to the University of Malawi. Continue on this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork. Take the left fork that leads towards the Mulunguzi Dam. Follow this road for another 1 kilometer, and you will begin to see signs for Mulunguzi River. The river is located just past the dam area, which should be visible on your right. You may need to walk a short distance into a small trail to reach the riverbank.
