If you are driving, head towards Papar town. From Kota Kinabalu, take the Pan Borneo Highway (AH150) south for approximately 40 kilometers. Once you reach Papar, look for Jalan Baru, and follow the signs towards Kampung Laut Kinarut. The Borneo World Insect Museum is located on Jalan Baru in Kampung Laut Kinarut, just off the main road. There is parking available on site.

Catch a bus from the Kota Kinabalu bus terminal to Papar. Buses frequently leave for Papar, and the fare is around RM 5-10.
