Car
If you're driving from Kota Kinabalu, take the Jalan Penampang - Donggongon road (Route 1) towards the town of Ranau. The journey is approximately 2 hours (around 90 km). Once you reach Ranau, follow the signs to Kinabalu GeoPark, located at 89300 Ranau, Sabah. There is ample parking available at the park entrance. Note that you may need to pay a parking fee of around RM 5.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Kota Kinabalu, you can take a bus from the Terminal Bas Inanam to Ranau. Buses leave regularly and the journey takes about 2.5 to 3 hours. The fare is approximately RM 30. Once you arrive at the Ranau bus station, you can take a taxi or local ride-sharing service to Kinabalu GeoPark, which is about 30 minutes away. Expect to pay around RM 15 for the taxi ride.
