Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from Kuching, the capital city of Sarawak. Head northeast on Jalan Tun Abang Haji Openg towards Jalan Padungan. Continue on Jalan Padungan and follow signs for Jalan Bako. Take the exit toward Jalan Bako from the Pan Borneo Highway (AH150). After approximately 20 km, turn onto the unnamed road that leads to Sikog Waterfall Entrance. The entrance is located at coordinates 1.3413518 latitude and 110.3418554 longitude. Ensure to keep an eye out for local signs and landmarks, as the area may not be well-marked. There are no tolls on this route.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Sikog Waterfall Entrance via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Kuching to Siburan. Buses leave regularly from the central bus terminal in Kuching. Once you arrive in Siburan, you may need to hire a taxi or grab a ride to the Sikog Waterfall Entrance, as public transport options may be limited in that area. The taxi fare should be negotiated beforehand, expect to pay around RM 20-30 for the short drive. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they know the location as it is a less frequented area.

• Walking

  If you are already in Siburan, and prefer walking, you can hike to Sikog Waterfall Entrance. However, this is recommended only for the physically fit and adventurous. Start from the center of Siburan and head towards the unnamed road leading to the waterfall. The walking distance is approximately 5 km, and it will take around 1-1.5 hours depending on your pace. Ensure you wear appropriate hiking shoes and carry water, as the route may have uneven terrain.
