Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Tanah Rata town, start at the Tanah Rata Bus Terminal. Head southeast on Jalan Besar towards Jalan Taman Sedia. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Jalan Tanjung, where you will turn left. Follow this road for about 500 meters until you see the sign for Abu Bakar Mosque on your right. The mosque is located on a small hill, so be prepared for a slight uphill walk.

  • Public Bus

    From the Tanah Rata Bus Terminal, take the local bus heading towards Brinchang. Inform the bus driver that you want to visit Abu Bakar Mosque. The bus will drop you at a stop near the mosque. Once you get off, walk back about 100 meters, and you will see the entrance to the mosque on your left.

  • Bicycle Rental

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Tanah Rata. Start from the town center, cycling down Jalan Besar towards the junction with Jalan Tanjung. Turn left onto Jalan Tanjung and continue for about 500 meters. The mosque will be on your right. Please note that the road may be steep in some places, so be prepared for a workout!
