If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Miri in Sarawak, which is the nearest major city. Drive southeast on Route 5 for approximately 90 kilometers. Follow the signs to the Gunung Mulu National Park entrance. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you’ll need to pay an entrance fee of around RM30 per person. From the entrance, continue driving until you reach the park headquarters. Parking is available here.

From Miri, you can take a bus to the Gunung Mulu National Park. Buses depart from the Miri Bus Terminal and the journey takes about 3-4 hours. The cost is approximately RM30 per person. Once you reach the park headquarters, you will need to purchase an entrance ticket, which is around RM30. The park headquarters serves as the starting point for trekking to Lang Cave.

After entering the park, you will need to trek approximately 3 kilometers through the rainforest to reach Lang Cave. The trek is well marked and takes about 1 hour.
