Getting There

  • Car

    From Taman Negara National Park, start your journey by driving towards Jerantut. Take the main road (Route 64) heading southeast for approximately 70 kilometers until you reach Jerantut. From Jerantut, continue on Route 64 until you reach the junction with Route 2. Take Route 2 towards Kuala Lumpur. After about 150 kilometers, you will approach Kuala Lumpur. Follow the signs to the city center and then to Jalan Perdana. Planetarium Negara is located at 53, Jalan Perdana, Tasik Perdana, 50480 Kuala Lumpur. Parking is available nearby, but may incur a fee.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Planetarium Negara from Taman Negara National Park using public transportation, first take a bus from the park to Jerantut. Buses run regularly and cost approximately RM 30. Once in Jerantut, transfer to a bus heading to Kuala Lumpur, which will take about 2 to 3 hours and cost around RM 35. Upon arriving at the Pudu Sentral (Pudu Bus Terminal) in Kuala Lumpur, you can take a taxi or ride-sharing service to Planetarium Negara. The taxi ride will take around 15 minutes and cost approximately RM 15 to RM 25.

  • Taxi/Ride-sharing

    If you prefer a more direct route, after taking a bus to Jerantut, you can hire a taxi from the bus station to Kuala Lumpur. The taxi ride will take around 2.5 to 3 hours and should cost between RM 150 to RM 200. Once you arrive in Kuala Lumpur, ask the driver to take you to 53, Jalan Perdana, Tasik Perdana, 50480 Kuala Lumpur, where Planetarium Negara is located.
