If you are traveling by car, head towards the town of Jerantut, which is the nearest town to Taman Negara. From Kuala Lumpur, take the East Coast Expressway (E8) towards Kuantan. After reaching the Temerloh exit, follow the signs directing you to Jerantut. The entire drive takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Once in Jerantut, follow the signs to the Taman Negara headquarters, where you can park your car and book a boat transfer to the park.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Kuala Lumpur to Jerantut. Buses leave from Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) and the journey takes about 3 to 4 hours. Upon arrival in Jerantut, you will need to take a taxi or a local minibus to the Taman Negara entrance, which is approximately 30 km away. Ensure to ask the bus driver or locals for the best drop-off point for taxis to Taman Negara.
