Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Kuala Lumpur. Take the North-South Expressway (E1) heading north. After approximately 60 km, take the exit toward Rawang/Bandar Country Homes. Follow the signs for the Kuala Kubu Bharu exit. Once you reach Kuala Kubu Bharu, navigate to Jalan Ampang Pecah. Alor Lempah is located directly along this road. The total drive time is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on traffic.
Public Bus
For those preferring public transportation, take a bus from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Kubu Bharu. Buses depart from the Pudu Sentral bus terminal, and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, costing around RM 10-15. Once you arrive at the Kuala Kubu Bharu bus terminal, you can either take a local taxi or ride-sharing service to Alor Lempah, which is about a 10-minute drive from the terminal.
Taxi/Ride-Sharing
If you are already in Kuala Kubu Bharu, you can easily take a taxi or use a ride-sharing app like Grab. Simply input 'Alor Lempah, Jalan Ampang Pecah' as your destination. The fare should be around RM 15-20 and the ride will take approximately 10 minutes, making it a convenient option for direct access.
Bicycle
For the adventurous traveler, consider cycling from Kuala Kubu Bharu to Alor Lempah. The distance is approximately 7 km and the route along Jalan Ampang Pecah is scenic. Ensure you have a proper map or GPS, and it's advisable to start early in the day to avoid the heat. This option is free of charge, but make sure to carry water and snacks for your journey.
