    If you're driving to the Malay Heritage Centre from anywhere in East Malaysia, you will first need to head to a nearby airport that offers flights to Singapore, such as Kota Kinabalu International Airport or Miri Airport. Once in Singapore, rent a car or use a taxi service. From Changi Airport, drive towards East Coast Parkway (ECP) and follow signs for the city center. Continue on ECP until you reach the Marina Bay area, then take the exit towards Kallang Road. Follow Kallang Road until you reach the junction with Nicoll Highway, then turn left onto Nicoll Highway. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Beach Road. Turn right onto Beach Road and follow it until you see Sultan Gate on your left. The Malay Heritage Centre will be at 85 Sultan Gate.

    If you prefer to use public transportation, start by taking a flight from an East Malaysian airport to Changi Airport in Singapore. Upon arrival at Changi Airport, take the MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) from the airport station (CG2) on the East West Line towards Pasir Ris. Transfer at Tanah Merah station (EW4) and continue on the East West Line towards Joo Koon. Alight at Bugis MRT Station (EW12/DT14). From Bugis, exit the station and walk towards Victoria Street. You can catch a bus (Bus 7, 14, 16, 36, or 77) from the bus stop nearby (Bugis Junction) towards Sultan Gate. Alight at the Sultan Gate stop, and the Malay Heritage Centre will be a short walk from there.
