Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the popular area of Armenian Street, head southeast towards Lebuh Pantai. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Jalan Penang. Turn left onto Jalan Penang and continue until you reach the junction with Stewart Lane. Turn right onto Stewart Lane, and the Straits and Oriental Museum will be on your left at number 20.

    From the Penang Peranakan Mansion located at 29, Church Street, head northwest along Church Street. After about 5 minutes, turn right onto Lebuh Melayu. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Stewart Lane. Turn left onto Stewart Lane, and the Straits and Oriental Museum will be at number 20, just a short walk ahead.
