If you're starting from the heart of George Town, a great starting point is the famous Komtar building. From Komtar, head west on Jalan Penang until you reach Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling. Turn left onto Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling and continue straight until you reach the junction with Jalan Weld Quay. Turn right onto Jalan Weld Quay, and walk along the waterfront until you spot a sign for Tan Jetty. The jetty is located at 48, Pengkalan Weld, which is directly accessible from the waterfront path.

You can take the local bus service, Rapid Penang, from various points in George Town. Board Bus 101 or Bus 102 heading towards the Jetty. Disembark at the 'Pengkalan Weld' stop. From the bus stop, walk towards the waterfront and head along Jalan Weld Quay. You will see Tan Jetty at 48, Pengkalan Weld. It’s a short walk from the bus stop to the jetty.

You can hire a trishaw from various locations around George Town. Simply tell the driver that you want to go to Tan Jetty at 48, Pengkalan Weld.
