Becasue of the depressing heat, thus the British set sight on the highest peak in Penang i.e. Penang Hill or locally known as(Flag Staff Hill) Bukit Bendera. They built a railway up the hill and bungalows for retreat during weekend. Here we can see the legacy of the bungalows left behind by the British beside experiencing a lower temperature climate compared to ground level. See Area View of George Town, Love Lock, Ginger Garden monkeys and some other habitat in the 130million year old forest.

Walk around the statue for more trivias like "Weekdays" Buddha, 12 Chinese animals zodiac Buddhas, and Try your luck at the Fortune Wheeler.
Dhammikarama Burmese Temple
Seeing the Marbel made buddha status at the Dhammikarama Burmese Temple, built in 1803, is the sole and oldest Burmese Buddhist temple in Penang. The temple is situated directly across Thai Temple Wat Chaiyamangkalaram. Walk around it to see what are the Burmese Buddhist nations. At the back of the temple, count the number of animal's parts that make up the magical animal called Panca Rupa. Throw a few coins for good luck at the "Wheel of Life" fountain. Take a lift up to the top of the Pagoda.
