They built a railway up the hill and bungalows for retreat during weekend. Dhammikarama Burmese Temple
Seeing the Marbel made buddha status at the Dhammikarama Burmese Temple, built in 1803, is the sole and oldest Burmese Buddhist temple in Penang. The temple is situated directly across Thai Temple Wat Chaiyamangkalaram. Walk around it to see what are the Burmese Buddhist nations. At the back of the temple, count the number of animal's parts that make up the magical animal called Panca Rupa. Throw a few coins for good luck at the "Wheel of Life" fountain.
