Walking
If you are starting from the Gurney Plaza Shopping Mall, exit the mall and head towards Gurney Drive. Walk along Gurney Drive, keeping the sea on your right. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction where Gurney Drive meets Jalan Kelawei. Gurney Bay will be located on the left-hand side along Gurney Drive, just past the intersection.

You can take the Rapid Penang bus service. Look for bus number 101 or 102, which runs along Gurney Drive. Board the bus at any bus stop along Gurney Drive. The fare is approximately RM 1.40. Inform the driver you want to get off at Gurney Bay, which is a well-known stop. After about 5-10 minutes, alight the bus and walk a short distance towards the water to reach Gurney Bay.
