If you're starting from the Ipoh Railway Station, head south on Jalan Panglima Bukit Gantang Wahab. After about 300 meters, turn left onto Jalan Sultan Idris Shah. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah. Turn right onto Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah and follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers. The Geology Museum will be on your left, next to the National Art Gallery.

From the Ipoh Parade, walk to the nearest bus stop and board bus number 12 or 8, which can take you towards Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah. Make sure to inform the driver that you're heading to the Geology Museum. The bus will stop near the museum. After getting off, walk a short distance towards the museum entrance, which will be on your right.
