If you are starting from the Ipoh Railway Station, exit the station and head southeast on Jalan Panglima Bukit Gantang Wahab. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach Jalan Sultan Idris Shah. Turn left onto Jalan Sultan Idris Shah and walk straight for approximately 300 meters. You will see a roundabout; take the first exit onto Jalan Bijeh Timah, and the Ho Yan Hor Museum will be on your right at number 1, Jalan Bijeh Timah.

If you are at the Ipoh Parade shopping mall, walk to the nearest bus stop at Jalan Sultan Idris Shah. Take the bus number 6 or 9 heading towards the city center. Disembark at the stop near the Ipoh Railway Station, which is approximately 10 minutes away. From the station, follow the walking directions provided above to reach the Ho Yan Hor Museum.
