Walking
If you are in the city center of Ipoh, start at the Ipoh Parade Shopping Mall. Exit the mall and head southeast on Jalan Sultan Idris Shah towards Jalan Yang Kalsom. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Jalan Tun Razak. Turn left onto Jalan Tun Razak and walk for about 600 meters. You will pass the Perak State Museum on your right. Keep walking straight until you see the large green space of the Ipoh War Memorial on your left, just before reaching the intersection with Jalan Gopeng.

From your location in Ipoh, head to the nearest bus stop and take the local bus heading towards Medan Kidd. Make sure to ask the bus driver to drop you off at the Ipoh War Memorial stop. After disembarking, you will see the memorial just a short walk away in the park area. If you're unsure, you can always ask locals for directions to the memorial.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Ipoh Train Station. Head north on Jalan Lahat, then turn right onto Jalan Sultan Yussuf. Cycle straight until you reach Jalan Tun Razak. Turn left and continue cycling for about 1.5 km. You will eventually see the Ipoh War Memorial in the park on your left, directly opposite the Ipoh Town Hall.
