From Ipoh, head to the Ipoh Bus Terminal located at Persiaran Bercham Selatan. Take a bus heading towards Taiping, which operates regularly throughout the day. The bus ride takes around 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Taiping Bus Terminal, exit the terminal and walk towards Jalan Taming Sari. The Perak Museum is a 15-minute walk from the bus terminal. Head west on Jalan Taming Sari, and you will see the museum on your left.

Make your way to the Ipoh Railway Station, which is centrally located in Ipoh. Purchase a ticket for a train heading to Taiping. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Taiping Railway Station, exit the station and take a taxi or Grab to the Perak Museum, which is about a 10-minute drive. Alternatively, if you prefer walking, you can walk along Jalan Taming Sari for about 25 minutes to reach the museum.
