If you are in the heart of New Town, start by heading east on Jalan Raja Permaisuri Bainun. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Jalan Dato Seri Ahmad Said. Follow this road for another 300 meters, and you will see Birch Memorial Clock Tower on your left, located at the intersection with Jalan Sultan Idris Shah.

You can take the local bus service that runs through New Town. Look for the bus stop on Jalan Raja Permaisuri Bainun and catch Bus No. 1 or 2 heading towards Ipoh Old Town. The fare is approximately RM1.50. Get off at the stop near the Ipoh Padang, then walk about 200 meters southeast along Jalan Sultan Idris Shah to reach Birch Memorial Clock Tower.
