Car
If you are driving to Damai Park Resort, start from Alor Setar, the capital of Kedah. Get onto the North-South Expressway (E1) heading south. Continue on the expressway for about 30 km and take the exit towards Merbok (Exit 167). Follow the signs to Merbok and continue straight until you reach Bukit Batu Pahat. The resort is located at Bukit Batu Pahat, 08400 Merbok, Kedah. There is no entrance fee to the park, but make sure to check for any parking fees if applicable.
Public Transportation
To reach Damai Park Resort via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Alor Setar to Merbok. Buses to Merbok can be found at the Alor Setar bus terminal. The fare is approximately RM 5-10, depending on the bus operator. Once you arrive at Merbok, you can take a taxi or ride-hailing service to reach Damai Park Resort, which is about 10 km away. Expect to pay around RM 15-20 for the taxi ride. Ensure that you check the bus schedule for return trips.
Combination of Car and Public Transportation
If you are in a smaller town like Sungai Petani, consider taking a local bus to Merbok first, which costs around RM 3-5. From Merbok bus station, you can hire a taxi to take you to Damai Park Resort for approximately RM 15. This option allows you to experience local transport and enjoy the scenery.
