Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start your journey from any location in Kedah and head towards Langkawi. Use the North-South Expressway (E1) and follow the signs for Kuala Perlis or Kuala Kedah. Once you reach the ferry terminal in either location, take the ferry to Langkawi. The ferry ride takes about 1 hour. Upon arriving at Kuah Jetty in Langkawi, drive towards the northern part of the island. Continue on Jalan Pantai Cenang and then take the exit onto Jalan Kilim. Follow the signs to Kilim Geoforest Park, which is about a 30-minute drive from Kuah Jetty. Look for Kilim River Tourism Jetty, Mukim Kampung Kilim, 07000 Langkawi as your destination.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus or taxi to the ferry terminal (either in Kuala Perlis or Kuala Kedah). Once you arrive at Langkawi, you can take a taxi from Kuah Jetty to Kilim Geoforest Park. Taxis are readily available and can take you directly to Kilim River Tourism Jetty. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes and costs around RM 30-40. Ensure you confirm the fare before starting your journey.

  To reach Kilim Geoforest Park, you must first take a ferry to Langkawi from either Kuala Perlis or Kuala Kedah. The ferry tickets typically cost around RM 18-30 one way, depending on the operator and the season.
