The entrance to Lata Awang is about 20 kilometers from Kuala Krai. Follow the road until you reach a junction; take the left turn and continue for another 10 kilometers, where you will find the entrance to Lata Awang. Please note that the road may be bumpy, so drive cautiously. Parking is available near the entrance, but there may be a small parking fee, typically around RM5.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, begin your journey at the Kota Bharu Bus Terminal. Take a bus heading to Kuala Krai; buses run frequently, and the fare is usually around RM10. The journey should take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Kuala Krai bus station, you can hire a taxi or a local ride-sharing service to take you to Lata Awang, which is about 20 kilometers away. The taxi fare may range from RM30 to RM50, depending on negotiation and traffic conditions. Ensure you agree on the price beforehand.
