Car
If you are driving from Kota Bharu, take Jalan Sultan Yahya Petra (Route 3) heading east. Continue on Route 3 for about 15 kilometers until you reach the junction at Kampung Bakar Kapor. Turn left onto Jalan Pantai Mek Mas and follow the road until you reach the beach. Parking is available near the beach entrance.
Public Transportation
From Kota Bharu, you can take a bus to Tumpat. Look for a bus heading towards Tumpat at the main bus terminal (Terminal Bas Kota Bharu). The fare is approximately RM4. Upon reaching Tumpat, you can take a local taxi or Grab service to Pantai Mek Mas. The taxi fare should be around RM15-RM20, and the journey takes about 15 minutes.
Taxi/Grab
If you prefer a more direct option, you can book a taxi or Grab from any location in Kota Bharu directly to Pantai Mek Mas. This will cost approximately RM40-RM60 depending on your pickup location and the traffic conditions. The journey will take around 30 minutes.
