From Kota Bharu, head east on Jalan Kuala Krai towards Jalan Pengkalan Chepa. Continue straight for approximately 25 km. Once you reach Bachok, look for the signs directing you to Kampung Balai. Turn left onto Jalan Kampung Balai, and continue for about 5 km until you see Wat Phothikyan Phutthaktham on your right. There is ample parking available at the temple.
