After entering, follow the main road until you see signs for Bukit Kopungit. The trailhead is located off the main road, and you can park your vehicle in the designated parking area near the trailhead.

For those using public transport, take a bus from the Kota Kinabalu bus terminal to the Kinabalu National Park. Look for buses labeled 'Kundasang' or 'Ranau'. The bus ride will take around 2 hours and costs about RM30. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you may need to hire a taxi or local transport to reach the Bukit Kopungit trailhead, as it is a short distance from the entrance but may not be walkable due to the lack of sidewalks. The taxi fare might be around RM20 to RM30 one way.
